2^nd Central European Conference
Chemistry towards Biology

Dear colleague,

The Organizing Committee and the Austrian Chemical Society (GÖCh) would like to invite you to the 2nd Central European Conference "Chemistry towards Biology", which will be held from 26 to 29 September 2004 in Seggau, Austria.
This conference is a continuation of a long-term cooperation among scientists from Central Europe sharing a scientific interest in chemical biology. The first conference of this series was held in Portoroz, Slovenia in September 2002 (http://www.portoroz2002.ki.si/).
The 2nd Central European Conference "Chemistry towards Biology" will specifically address the following research topics:

Supramolecular Chemistry

Molecular Enzymology and Biocatalysis

Metallo-enzymes

Structural Biology

Bioinformatics

Nucleic Acid Chemistry

A major objective of the conference will be to establish a platform for mutual scientific contacts between researchers from the central European countries in the dawn of european integration, and to foster future collaborations between scientists in these countries. In view of this perspective we specifically encourage younger scientists to participate. We hope to welcome you at the conference!
